Current and Proposed Foundation Initiatives

Our 'Giving Back' efforts are targeted at the following core areas:

• Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships in Lymphoma Cancer at the Christie Hospital and Manchester Cancer Research Centre, University of Manchester, U.K.
• Clean water initiative in flood affected districts in Bihar (In partnership with OXFAM)
• Proposed new KGF Centre for Vocational and Technical Training in the Village of Parsauni Khem, Motihari District, North-East Bihar, India
• ILA MALLICK Scholarships at Magadh Mahila College, Patna
• Cataract Eye Camps in Bihar State, India, to restore and improve eyesight in vulnerable people
• Provision of an Ambulance for a Rural Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre near Kolkata, India.
• Scholarships for able Girl and Boy School Students to assist completion of their education at Rammuhun Roy Seminary, Patna, India.
• Annual merit fellowship in the Post Graduate Department of Psychology, University of Patna, India
• Cancer work in Patna, India
• Keeping in touch and exchanging project ideas with interested parties including Government of India National Disaster Management Authority, like-minded National and International Charities and Village Committees in areas that have received long-term benefit from our Kanka-Gajendra Foundation projects.
