ILA MALLICK Scholarships at Magadh Mahila College, Patna

For Female Students Undertaking B.Sc. Honours Degrees.

The Kanka-Gajendra Foundation has sponsored a number of scholarships in-perpetuity, for impoverished, but educationally-able female students wishing to undertake B.Sc. Honours degree courses at Magadh Mahila College, Patna, Bihar State, India.

Magadh Mahila College is a premier institution for women and well known in the region for its value based education, quality teaching and discipline. This is a constituent college under Patna University.

The KGF sponsorship will augment, as necessary, funds already in place, donated in memory of the late Professor ILA Mallick. Bank interest from such funds will provide an annual grant to female scholarship holders to meet part of the cost of annual college fees and expenses, thus enabling more female students to undertake B.Sc. degrees that are often out of reach of all but the wealthy.
